E. C. Glass Personal Finance students Charlie McVeigh, Joe Saville, Owen Ahrens, and Matt MacCallum have been invited to attend the Governor’s Challenge in Economics and Personal Finance, which is the state championship for personal finance. Students will test their knowledge of economic concepts and apply their skill in personal finance at the day-long competition. They earned their invitation to the championship round following an online competition conducted by the Virginia Council on Economic Education in association with the Office of Governor Ralph Northam. Regional winners in each division were invited to attend the state event. E. C. Glass was the Region 5 winner. The state event will be held on April 20th in Richmond.
