During the week of November 13-17, The Lynchburg Beacon of Hope is partnering with E. C. Glass and Heritage high schools to celebrate Virginia College Application Week.
On Monday and Tuesday, English and Government classes will be designated for college application submissions, and Wednesday is On-site Admissions Day, where more than 15 college admissions counselors will let students know if they are accepted in person!
Thursday is Project Launchburg. During this event, high school sophomores will visit local post-secondary institutions. This event gives 10th graders a chance to begin thinking about education after high school and also gives our wonderful local institutions a chance to encourage local talent to stay in the community.
Also, high schools will hold assemblies and have college themed spirit days all week.
