PTO OFFICERS FOR 2020-2021

Our new PTO board is committed to increasing involvement from BHS families and friends this coming year. At this time, more than ever, WE NEED YOU to help sustain our wonderful programs, support our teachers, and develop ways to give our children the best learning experience BHS has to offer.
If you are interested in an open position now, please email Amanda Rumore ([email protected]). The PTO is planning a Meet & Greet event in August to help parents, family, and friends get involved. Details to follow!
PTO SUPPORTS NEW GYM EQUIPMENT AND TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK
In recent weeks, the Bedford Hills PTO has pledged funds to help purchase equipment for our new gym and provided teachers with a special Teacher Appreciation Week gift. Many thanks to Shannon Buchanan, Deirdra Flavin, Kim Geier, and all the parents who contributed to showering our teachers with thanks!
BHS CARNIVAL 2020
Due to the uncertainty around our ability to host large-crowd events in Fall 2020, the PTO has voted to cancel the 2020 BHS Carnival fundraising event. The PTO has created an ad-hoc Fundraising Committee to explore possible alternative fundraisers that are more socially-distanced but will still raise the funds we need to support our school. If you are interested in helping with this endeavor, please email Megan Huffman at [email protected]. Be on the lookout for our 2020-21 fundraising announcement in August.
YEARBOOKS
Due to low presale interest and the inability to collect all images needed, the PTO voted to not produce a 2020 yearbook. We plan to include some of the already-photographed 2019-20 memories in the 2021 yearbook. All yearbook deposits/payments should have been refunded by Lifetouch. Many thanks to Erica Powers for her service in coordinating the yearbook and her phenomenal photography skills!
