Students at R. S. Payne Elementary School participated in this year’s Hour of Code, a worldwide effort to introduce students of all levels to the basics of computer programming. Third, fourth, and fifth graders programmed through the online website code.org working through 20 levels of programming puzzles. Students worked together to program avatars around obstacles. Problem solving, logical thinking, and planning were all skills students utilized while spending an hour working with code.
