UPDATE:
Shortly after 2:00 p.m. on March 13, the governor’s office ordered schools to close for a minimum of two weeks. As a result, Lynchburg City Schools will be closed on Monday, March 16 through Friday, March 27. We will update families and staff with any changes.
Staff members please note that in order to ensure continuity of instruction and education, we will continue to hold a staff work day on Monday, March 16 for all employees. All employees should report to their buildings at their regularly scheduled time. Over the weekend more information will come about where to report during this staff work day. Please contact your supervisors with any questions.
